Friday, October 10, 2008 @ 10:47 PM Iguides sub comm training workshop was fun. Finally, I can do the hand ign song which I found it incredibly difficult during orientation. So after all the fun, we got down to planning games for Iguides camp happening on the 31st Oct to 2 Nov. The games were improvised from the sub comm selection camp and they are going to be so fun. Too bad I am not going to be playing those games. Working as an event promoter requires a lot from me. Just yesterday, I had to refrain myself from yelling at the customer. Yup, I know patience comes first but think of the circumstances I was in yesterday. My partner came in an hour late. He was sick. And obviously, I had to do most of the things. 4 out of 5 people will ask what their prize was about. I am sure I repeated myself for about 100 times. Some were just plain rude and jumping queues. The queue was never ending. Some didnt speak English. I was having a splitting headache after just 3 hours. Get the picture? Actually, I am kinda of scared whenever I have to go to work because I hate having to have so many people at the counters. Oh well, I will be at it again on Sunday. Shall take a rest as much as possible =)) |
