Wednesday, December 31, 2008 @ 2:31 PM Omg! Can you believe it? 2008 IS ALMOST OVER !!! It's like damn fast lah. Ok, it always seems this way when the day is like approaching December or December. And when January begins all over again, I will be like so sian and say, "Here's another year. Again." Yup but whatever. I am going to try to enjoy the countdown. Reflecting upon what I did for the year, can say it's quite productive bah. And of course, the wonderful long break I have after my Os the previous year all the way till April. I worked at the airport and made many many wonderful friends and colleagues. Thinking back really made me miss the times when we took breaks together, sharing gossip, getting into troubles with the management and customers and blah blah blah and finally, sticking out through it all. =)) Yup, happy memories back then. Then I almost remembered the day I received my O levels results which was somewhere around February? I was damn nervous when I entered the school. I cant even sign my name properly in the register lah. But when I saw my results, I was like practically screaming becoz my L1R4 no L1R5 is less than 20. Phew!! Hahaha! So I applied and got into Temasek Polytechnic. Orientation day was like somewhere in April, and I got into Class 1ko5 together with Prin. Very happy that we both got into the same class. =)) Hey, we have been like classmates since Sec 1 lah. I have also met many new friends then. Speaking of my class, I really cherish them. They are a fun bunch of people and we never really have an internal conflict before. Unlike some of the classes I know. Hence, I really really appreciate it. Thanks a lot guys! I really couldnt thank them enough. Although next year we will all be in different class, I hope we can still meet again in Sentosa ya? =)) And I had also made friends with many people in the school. Take PICC for example. I am alone in the class as no one I know got in. So ya, sitting there and pretended to be invisible. Then, I started to make friends with Dawn and Amanda. They two rocks man! Coz they always know what the teacher is talking and able to explain to me. Of course, there are other classmates who are funny and ya.. Actually I only became close to the rest after a BBQ session. Nonetheless, I am still lucky to be chosen to be in this CDS so ya, I am happy. =)) China internship is next guys.. Coming soon.. So besides PICC, there are also mentoring which I have nothing much to say lah becoz I keep on pon-ning. Feel rather guilty leh. Alamak! Then there's IGuides. I dont know what went through my mind when I am registering as a sub-comm for IGuides. But then, I think I am lucky to get into the sub committee as everything is so so fun. The people there are nice and friendly and not to mention the things that we do are so cool lah. =)) And within the Logistics, there's always 木头人 who will brighten up my day whether during IGuides events or outings. Their plain silliness and jokes and much love, care and concerns made me feel warm and familiar when I am with them. Though we may be of different schools, courses and year of study, it's amazing how we can click together and forever moving everywhere together. Haha! Love them lots...! Oh oh, and F1. Yup, that's the most fun temp job and experience I ever had.. This basically concluded my year for 2009, in a very very brief summary. Can say I have experience happiness. sadness, anguish, frustration, emo, love and friendship. Really really feel lucky. =)) Anyway, Happy New Year in advance to you. =)) |
