I am feeling so accomplished now. =))

That's becoz I just finished my POM presentation slides. Yay! I am so disciplined. (^-^)

I shall blog now, my CNY reunion and CNY Day 1.

Reunion was last Sunday and I slacked at home before heading out to my maternal family for lunch. I actually thought of tidying up my room but then failed terribly lah. Plus, there's nothing much to tidy I guess. =x Yup, so had lunch there and didnt ate much becoz later at night I had reunion dinner in some inaccessible restaurant with my paternal family. I was required to dress up so ya, I looked very weird!!

The food in the restaurant wasnt that exactly nice compared to the previous restaurants we went and the service wasnt that commendable. We had to ask for the bill for like how many times. Wah~~ So much for a restaurant in Raffles Place area.. Hmmm.. Ya I think was around that area. And the yu sheng did not have a lot of salmon lah.. but there's a lot of deep fried salmon skins 0.0

Moving on...

My mother literally pulled away my blanket in the morning of CNY. Considering the fact that I slept like around 12:45 am the previous night, waking up at 7:30 am in the morning doesnt sound humane to me. Ya I know, when I am chionging projects that time I can sleep like at 1 or 2 am and wake up at 6:30 am, but that was different.

Showered and dressed up (again!) and headed off to my paternal grandparents' place. Wished everyone there happy new year and collect angbaos. =)) Next, will be visiting my lao gu's family(that's granduncle in dialect, I think). So wished everyone there happy new year and got even more angbaos. Hehe !! As we were on a tight schedule, we were there for like 20 - 30 minutes then we went off to my lao yi's house.

On the way there, there was this very jialat traffic jam. There was many church goers (on a CNY Day 1?? 0.0?) and then so many cars parked illegally, making a two lanes road to one lane only. And I really cannot tolerate female drivers. Hmmm.. let me re-phrase. Female aunty drivers. Yes yes. Everyone knows that desperate times call for desperate measures. Since everyone was driving onto the curb in order to get through, why cant she do the same? She cant possibly squeezed her Toyota when there's like my aunt's car and another illegally parked car in a 2 lanes road. Then becoz of her, the whole traffic was jammed up and my aunt then let her go through first. And the best part was, SHE NEVER EVEN THANK US. Hmmm.. then I looked at the driver and ya, aunty mah.. Nevermind one. I am not saying aunty drivers are like that lah, I am sure there's nice ones though. =))

Reached my lao yi's house after spending what seemed to be a long time in the car. And ya, more angbaos!! =)) Lucky there's a lot of people there at that time. Some relatives whom I never see before were there too. Hahaha !! So I just wished them happy new year and got angbaos.

Left around 12:30 pm to collect lunch from this malay shop in Katong. Their food was delicious lah. I never ate at the shop before and my aunts said that it wasnt as good as they used to have, so I reckoned that it must be even better eating at the shop itself. Hmmm.. If there's any chance to eat at Katong, I want to eat there. =))

During lunchtime, my lao gu and his family came down. And I saw two of my very adorable cousins, Nigel and Nixon. And I feel that it's time to introduce someone,

Here is my daughter, Nicole.

Isnt she such an angel? She was dressed in total pink (which is my favourite colour =D). Aiya, ok lah. In case any one of you shocked or what, Nicole is one of my cousins but I went around telling people she is my daughter. =pp Nigel and Nixon are her elder brothers and they were so active lah. They kept on jumping around, running and fell down countless of times. Then I will be like saying "obigood, run somemore lah". But nontheless, they were so adorable lah. Nevermind, next time next time ...

I took an afternoon nap then have to get ready to go to my maternal side le. Changed and at around 5 pm we left. Met up with my cousins there and had steamboat for dinner. Plus, some of them really can talked rubbish lah. Didnt know that. Hmmm..

Went over to my ah yi 's house after that and I got bored. So I got Yingqi to call me and we met up under the void deck since we were like so near each other. So chatted till like 10:40 pm or so then she went home. Went back to my aunt's place and watched them played Blackjack till like 11:10 pm then went home. Watching them play reminded me of that time during open house when Yesheng and Yongliang played Blackjack. It was so funny lah. (^-^)

That's basically what happened for CNY Day 1.
