Monday, February 23, 2009 @ 12:44 PM Pink chio-ness but not Marketing Wah!! I am damn sick of marketing lah. WTH!!! The definitions to me are like just randoms words put together to give a chim appearance only lor. It does not make any sense. For example, Customer satisfaction are perceived value delievered relative to buyer's expectations. When a customer is happy with the product or service he/she got, he/she will be naturally satisfied right? Or, in other words, when the product or service I received exceeded my expectations, then I will derive satisfaction. I still find my definitions easier than the former. Perceived value is like the customer's perception of value right? Isnt it the same as buyer's expectations since in dont-know-one chapter I studied, buyer's expectations arised from past experiences and from "hearsays". So if I already have past experiences and if the product or service is good, I will naturally have the perception that that particular product or service is good right? So does not make any logic to me lah. Alamak!! Then I got so worried over nothing. I was like thinking, "Die already, my command of English is lagging." Oh my God!! Stupid marketing. And HTM got the easier job of doing GeogTravel. It's just learning about different countries which is like more interesting than marketing. I dont want to be a marketer next time. I want to be working in a job more towards dealing with customers. More challenging. Or maybe I can be planner, planning for people's D&D, weddings, parties etc. So fun !!! ^-^ Ya, in conclusion, marketing is so not fun lor. Phew! Feeling better after all these rantings. Really felt like yelling all sorts of vulgarities and curses at my marketing notes. Which I think people will think that I am crazy since my notes are inanimate objects and they have no feelings and wont reply me. At all. On to a happier note. =)) My family had another interesting conversation yesterday. Mummy (Talking to Jacqueline): Eh! Your phone bill very expensive leh. $100+. Send until 2000 sms. I go and deduct from your bank account ah? Jacqueline: But I no money le lah. Me (Innocently laughing behind my laptop) Mummy: Eh! You also dont laugh hor. Your phone bill also very expensive leh. Outgoing calls already 300 minutes ..... Me (Cutting in): Okokokokokok, noted. Hey bo bian mah, if I dont cut in, next time you guys cannot call me and I cannot call you then it will upset the universe balance ok? Jacqueline: Why not you give us the new prepaid card? Pay $28 but can get over $100 value. Me: Where got such good thing one? Jacqueline: Got lor. Somemore you send 10 sms in a week then they give you 5 sms free. Mummy and me: You think enough for you is it?!?!?!?!?! Consider the fact that she can actually send until 1000 + sms in a month, I highly doubt it will suffice her. Jacqueline also very funny lor. Haiz... So we went out yesterday to shop becoz I am damn bored of marketing. I got a very very very chio earphones. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
My aunt just returned from Istanbul, largest city in Turkey. I want to go there too!! Ok I also dont know what to do there anyway. I just say that for the sake of saying and I really want to travel. But I am so not enthu about going to China though. She got us a bracelet each and it's supposed to be a lucky charm. Turkish believe that the "eye" thingie can ward off evil or something. So ya, it kind of look like an eye. And the best of all, SHE GOT MINE IN PINK. =))   Jacqueline and I decided on this Canon PowerShot E1 camera after seeing it in Courts. Not bad lah, it's light, 10 megapixels, face detection and very very affordable. Mummy gave the green light but she is not sponsoring us for that. =(( But this chio camera's design got cotton pink!! So ya, hence we decided on this one.Yayness!! Cant wait to get my hands on it. Ok now, back to marketing. I think I will try studying it for awhile. If really cannot get in, then I shall move on to POM. PS: Oh ya the "GUMY" right is one of the mystery prizes I gave out when working as a promoter. No wonder....
