Sunday, May 10, 2009 @ 9:56 PM Yo people. I hadnt been updating. I know I know. So I decided to let pictures do the talking eh? =)) Anyhow I am so so glad to be back in Singapore and back to familar scenes and sounds. So yup, here's the pictures
 The immigration pass I needed to fill up before entering China. Note that they addressed all foreigners as aliens.  While waiting in Hongqiao Airport in Shanghai for our domestic flight to Shijiazhuang.
 As a matter of fact, all of us did. Well, we sat through a 5 hours long flight at 12:55 am from Singapore to Shanghai. Then transit from Shanghai to Shijiazhuang, meanwhile we had to wait like 4 hours in between. Shijiazhuang International Airport  A random shot Sakura tree in No.42 Middle School The school     Ok. This cafe near the school is damn cool. The things here are all less than SGD$1 and the seats are swings. So you can swing when you eat your lunch. Super cool lor. Why Singapore dont have such a cafe one? Yijie and I eating Mandarin oranges, courtesy of Dawn.  This is the 新天地 lor. The first shopping mall we went.   The streets in Shijiazhuang  Dinner at Jinnie's homestay family's restaurant was delicious. Alcohol was very affordable in China as only 2 yuan per can. So the guys had a great time knocking themselves out. This is not a beer but it tastes and smell like one. Very nice drink. This is their library  Hahahahah! 18 cm. Insiders joke. The 水上公园    They have a lot of peach blossoms there. Here's a chef preparing our duck. And it's not cheap lor!!  My chinese tea that was so bitter  The duck skin was served first. It was supposed to be the nicest part.    The meat  That's what you put in it.     Back to Shijiazhuang, and back to marking this thick of papers  The class that I took. Believe me, there are 60 over students.  My homestay kid and meOk, I am sian about putting up pictures le. The rest I shall do it next time. =)) So that's my time in China |
