Tuesday, April 7, 2009 @ 8:30 PM I know I have been mia-ing for long. Well, it's not becoz I am having so much fun till I have no time to blog. But there's really nothing to blog! Now that I am blogging, it means that I have a few things to rant. =)) Attachment so far was BORING! Everyday, I will reach school 10 mins late and nobody really bothers. So I will just sit together with friends and crap until my supervisor decides to give me things to do. And everyday, I will fall asleep after lunch. I will also sit in one of the classes and listen to the teacher teaching the class. Then I realised that the whole syllabus is very screwed up lah. Their teachers were practically teaching them the wrong sentence structure, wrong pronunciation etc. I was quite pek chek at that becoz when I am grading their assignments, some mistakes could be avoided. Sometimes it's to the extent that I felt like vomiting blood. So people, it is not that the Chinese are not good in English. It is them learning the wrong English when they were still studying. Now I understand and dont blame them at all. I went over to Beijing over the weekend and it was kind of a wasted trip for me. Shallnt continue with the details. But at least I got to visit 天安门 and went to 全聚德 to have their all time famous 北京烤鸭. And oh oh, I got to experience how locals live. Ok maybe not their habit of spitting everywhere but I got to travel in their "MRT" and it wasnt a fun experience. As China is very over populated, the train was very crowded and squeezy till you literally have no chance of falling over. Oh my gosh! Now I shallnt complain when taking MRT in Singapore already. Overall, Beijing is more civilised than Shijiazhuang in my opinion and that the drivers there do not honk incessantly. Ok, that's all for now. I am super lazy already. =pp Ciao! |
